InViRa
Interaction in Virtual Rooms
Funded by the Karl-Steinbuch research program, InViRa explores the mechanics of movement, interaction and selection in Virtual Reality. The goal was to lay the groundwork for companies that want to develop Virtual Reality experiences for any kind of business. To test these mechanics we developed a prototype in Unity 3D and Unreal Engine. On an interactive website developers are able to learn about common mechanics and metrics and how this affects certain aspects of a Virtual Reality experience. A soon to be published paper will give a summary of our research.
